Katy ISD expands the role of public education by providing academic and enrichment opportunities for learners of all ages, interests and abilities while making efficient use of its facilities.

This rapidly growing program offers basic education for the under-educated to advanced computer courses for professionals. This includes academic programs and personal enrichment classes such as arts and crafts, sign language for the deaf, sewing, cooking, floral design, foreign languages, business skills, medical insurance billing, self defense, defensive driving and scuba. Community Education also offers study skills for high school and college students. Students may also enroll in a variety of after-school courses such as spanish and drama.
