Welcome to West Memorial
West Memorial is an established suburban development in West Houston between S. Mason Road, the SH 99 (the Grand Parkway), I-10 and Kingsland.
Situated in Katy ISD, we have an Elementary and Junior High School in the center of the subdivision, both within walking distance of virtually the entire community. Our high school is Taylor HS, one of the premium high schools in Texas.
Our proximity to amenities is second to none. We are minutes away from the Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, the Texas Children's Hospital - West Campus, the Methodist West Houston Hospital, the Methodist St. Catherine Long Term Acute Care Hospital and all types of clinics, doctors, senior care and medical facilities. We are close to Katy Mills Mall, Typhoon Texas, hotels and motels, the Houston Energy Corridor plus the Mason Road/SH 99 shops, stores and restaurants including La Centerra.
We are a quiet, safe neighborhood with wide, shady sidewalks and a friendly atmosphere. We have an active community association with a pool (open during the summer), a clubhouse and a lovely park with play areas and a pavilion.
WMCA BOARD MEETINGS
The WMCA Board meets at the Clubhouse at 22415 Kingsland on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00PM. All homeowners are welcome to attend.

Texas Pride Disposal - Trash & Recycling Guidelines
Have waste ready for collection no later than 6:00 am
Household Garbage:
- Waste must be placed in personal containers between 20 and 95-gallons or bags.
- Containers smaller than 20 gallons or containers that are not built specifically to be used as a trash can will be disposed of
- Cans or bags cannot exceed 50 pounds
- Drums and barrels are not allowed and will be disposed of
Heavy Trash:
- Two heavy items collected EVERY service day
- Heavy trash/bulk waste includes waste that is not generated on a regular basis, including:
- Furniture (couch, table, mattress, box spring, desk, dresser, etc.)
- Appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.)
- Hot Water Heaters
- Fencing/Decking/Siding (please remove nails, cut into lengths 4' or less, and tie and bundle under 50 pounds, limit eight bundles per service day)
- Trampolines (broken down, please place metal with recycling if possible)
- Basketball goals (broken down into sections 4' or shorter, no concrete in base or poles)
- Carpeting/Flooring (please cut into lengths 4' or shorter and tie and bundle under 50 pounds, limit eight bundles per service day)
- Place grass clippings in cans or bags under 50 pounds. Limit eight bags of yard waste per service day.
- Branches should be placed in CLEAR, INDIVIDUAL piles measuring no larger than 3' x 3' x 3', or tied and bundled and under 50 pounds. Branches should measure no more than 6” in diameter to avoid damage to our equipment. Limit eight bundles per service day.
- Excess yard waste (more than eight bags or eight bundles) is considered a pay pile. Contact Texas Pride Disposal to arrange for pickup.

SILVER WATCH PROGRAM
Harris County Constable Pct. 5 - Silver Watch Program
Here at Precinct 5, we care about our senior citizens. Their quality of life is important to us and we know how hard it can be protecting them in later years. To help where we can, Constable Ted Heap is pleased to announce the launch of Silver Watch, a program designed to better serve and protect senior citizens living in Precinct 5. Under this new program, senior citizens can sign up or be signed up by concerned family members for regular personal welfare checks. Once they fill out a short form on our website and provide their consent, one of our uniformed deputies will stop by on a weekly basis to make sure the registered senior citizen is safe and well.
Our deputies will also be able to educate them on common scams that target senior citizens over the phone and internet. They will be happy to answer any questions regarding local crime trends, and can offer suggestions to seniors on protecting themselves, their home and property. For issues not falling under the umbrella of law enforcement, our deputies can provide senior citizens with a list of local agencies which may be of assistance to aid in meeting any specific needs. KISD HOME ACCESS CENTER
The Katy ISD Home Access Center provides an online grade book where parents and guardians can view helpful student information to support and guide their children through the educational process. From home or work, at any time of the day or night, parents can access the Web portal to track academic achievement. E-mail links are also available throughout the portal so parents can communicate with the school and teachers.
